Long regarded as one of Hilton Head Island’s most popular golf courses, Country Club of Hilton Head restored all 18 greens in 2010 with MiniVerde™ ultra dwarf Bermudagrass. The new putting surfaces have helped secure the semi-private course’s place among the best layouts in the Lowcountry. Designed by Rees Jones, the Country Club course is an exhilarating test that meanders through one of Hilton Head Island’s most elevated sites. It has twice served as a local qualifying site for the U.S. Open and has received a Four Star rating for excellence by Golf Digest. Owned and operated by ClubCorp, the Country Club also received the 2010 Reader’s Choice Award as the island’s “Best Golf Course/Club” by readers of the Island Packet.
